EVENTS AT GALIT
Our Galit private dining room can seat up to 24 guests. We ask for a 2 week lead time for parties up to 24. A private dining room buyout is required for parties of 16-24. For 25+, we ask that a two month lead time as it requires a buyout of the restaurant.
Galit is a Middle Eastern Restaurant in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in Chicago, owned and operated by Andrés Clavero and James Beard Award-winning chef Zachary Engel. The restaurant is a space for community: hospitality professionals, guests and suppliers will come together and celebrate food and drink in a respectful, friendly and caring manner. The menu focuses on a seasonal and localized approach to dishes of the Middle East and immigrant cuisines, alongside a unique and forward-thinking beverage program. Galit has been awarded a MICHELIN star in 2022, 2023, and 2024. In 2024, Galit was named Restaurant of The Year by the Jean Banchet Awards, and in 2025, it was a finalist for Outstanding Restaurant at the James Beard Foundation Awards.
